We package the optional accessories separately so you can get exactly what you need for your specific installation or we have created a “Deluxe” version which includes the cannonball closer, chain, upgraded mounting hardware and a gate stop for a complete and polished installation from one stock number.
Manufactured from a combination of cast iron (ball) and steel (chain).
Available in Black (BPPCG) finish.
Mounting Kit is supplied with matching black stainless steel fasteners.
Supplied with 3/16” dia. chain.
We recommend the use of a Gate Stop to assist in absorbing the force of the gate closing.
Installation Specs
The Cannonball Gate Closer requires that an additional post be installed behind the hinge post. The chain is then attached between this extra post and the gate with a six-pound solid cast iron ball suspended on the chain. Gravity does the rest!
