We offer a selection of Carriage Bolts (sold in packages of 2) that correspond with our pairs of 6295, 8295 and 8292 hinges. A carriage bolt is required for each hinge. Hinge sizes 7” to 16” require 3/8” dia. bolts and 18” to 36” require ½” dia. bolts. These are not included with the hinge pairs because the length of bolt needed will vary with each installation. Order bolts 1” longer than the overall thickness of your gate or door to permit installation through the hinge strap, gate or door, and to allow for a nut and washer on the backside.

  • Both 3/8” dia. and 1/2" dia. carriage bolts available.
  • 2 nuts, 2 bolts, and 2 washers per package.
  • Manufactured from steel.
  • Available in Hot Dipped Galvanized, Black (BPPCG) or Stainless Steel finishes.
  • 3/8” dia. carriage bolts for use with 7” to 16” Old-Fashioned Heavy Duty Hinges (8292), Cranked Bands with Pins (8295) and Contemporary Cranked Bands with Pins (6295).
  • 1/2” dia. carriage bolts for use with 18” to 36” Old-Fashioned Heavy Duty Hinges (8292), Cranked Bands with Pins (8295) and Contemporary Cranked Bands with Pins (6295).
  • Use bolts 1” longer than thickness of gate or door.
